The Grove Church invites the Champaign community to celebrate Easter

CHAMPAIGN, IL — The Grove Church invites the Champaign community to celebrate Easter with a series of special events beginning with a Good Friday service and culminating in an Easter Sunday celebration of the resurrection.

Easter weekend begins with a Good Friday service on April 3 at 6:00 PM at The Venue CU, located at 51 E Main Street in Champaign. The service will provide a time of reflection on the death of Jesus, offering the community an opportunity to contemplate the significance of this pivotal moment in Christian history.

"This service will be a time of worship and a celebration of the resurrection. All are welcome to join us to celebrate the greatest event in the history of the world," said Pastor Josh Loomis, Lead Church Planter.

On Saturday, April 4, The Grove Church will host an Easter egg hunt starting at 10:00 AM at Hessel Park, located at 1400 Grandview Drive in Champaign. The event will include a presentation about the meaning of Easter, followed by lunch featuring burgers for all attendees. Families are encouraged to join for this festive community gathering.

Easter Sunday services will be held on April 5 at 10:00 AM at The Venue CU (51 E Main Street, Champaign). The celebration will focus on worship and the joy of the resurrection, welcoming all who wish to participate in this meaningful service.
